We have a new Marketing Executive position available within the UK Consumer Marketing Team, reporting to the Marketing Manager, at our client's offices in Marlow.
We are looking for a graduate with 1 – 2 years' experience at least in a marketing role/placement year.
Our client is offering a salary up to £24500 plus up to 10% bonus and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
– Able to analyse market activity, competitor ranges & retailer strategies
– Effective profitability analysis of accessory products, aligning product ranges and promotions to the key business measures
– Productive landscaping of competition to allow a clear understanding of product & category trends within all channels across the UK
– Management and delivery of relevant presentations and materials for the sales team to help carry out effective range proposals and training of store staff
– Creation and management of relevant documentation for existing and new sku's
– Accurate and timely product life cycle management to include; profitability, channel management, forecasting, promotion and end of life planning
– Work closely with the EMEA teams to ensure effective communication and merchandising of accessory range displays including any instore retail executions
– Support the UK consumer PR function, helping to grow its network of influencers and journalists as well as timely delivery of samples
– Support end user communications by responding in a timely manner to email and social media enquiries, as well as proactively identifying areas of improvement
– Responsibility for organising and execution of sales and marketing events
– Manage creative asset agencies
– To undertake key projects or other ad-hoc duties assigned by your Line Manager from time to time
Skills Required:
– Relevant degree in Marketing or Business Management
– Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar position
– Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
– Good presentation skills
– Strong analytical acumen
– A strong working knowledge of relevant software packages used in the office environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc).
– Ability to practically demonstrate the management of a product portfolio
– A strong determination to achieve & drive commercial opportunities into the business
– A good team spirit, but critically, being a strong self-starter
– Ability to travel, both within the UK and occasionally internationally
