Role: Business Development Manager
Location: Marlow, Buckinghamshire

Salary / Rate of pay: £50,000 + 50% to 60% on OTE Commission (bonus)

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular business within the logistics industry based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

Plan and carry out sales activities to enable agreed business plans and targets to be achieved. The role will be supported by lead generation and marketing teams that will creates sales leads and will provide effective marketing campaigns. Once new business has been won and successfully implemented, hand over the servicing and management of the client to the Client Success team.

What's involved?
▪ Achieve new business sales that meet agreed quarterly targets

▪ Plan and carry out direct lead development activity

▪ Work closely with lead generation and marketing teams to qualify and convert new business leads

▪ Respond to and follow up sales enquiries received from prospective clients

▪ Set up and lead client meetings and actively engage with internal departments to create and present winning solutions

▪ Maintain and computerised clients and prospect database (CRM)

▪ Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information

▪ Review leads and opportunities regularly with senior managers to develop and refine sales strategies

▪ Identify and feedback market intelligence on client, prospects and competitor activity

▪ Build and maintain effective relationships with implementation and Client Success teams
