Job Title: Assistant Product Manager
Salary: negotiable + bonus and benefits
Location: Maidenhead, Slough, Reading, Berkshire, Windsor
Evolve Recruitment are currently recruiting for a global organisation for the Product Management teams across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities will include:
You will be required to become the expert in your product categories
Manage the efficient launch of new products with control of SKU variations for markets and retailers.
Landscaping and market & customer profiling to allow a clear understanding of product & category trends across Europe
Defining product features & specifications required on future product launches
Executing product launches through the business, with emphasis on:
Production dates
Product detail such as manuals, packaging, decals, etc.
Communication of product schedules to the regions
Monitoring the performance of the product streams against given targets
Working with the Sales & Marketing Teams in the regions to deliver the necessary products for range, national promotions, as well as for customer specific promotions.
Working with the Brand & Communication team on launch packs, merchandising & marketing materials to support your products.
Interaction with other departments such as Supply Chain, Technical, Finance, Sales & Customer services.
Briefing other colleagues in all areas of product function, features & performance
Customer visits to gain market knowledge
Attendance at European product summits
Working with our Marketing team & outside agencies to develop product catalogues & literature
Manufacturing site visits to monitor progress on production launches.
Other tasks as necessary
What you will need:
Preferably degree educated
A Product or Commercial background preferably in the power tools industry (ideally two years' experience) desirable but not essential
Strong analytical and financial acumen
Excellent organisational and time management skills in order to prioritise objectives effectively and efficiently and be very hands on in their approach
Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Good presentation skills
A strong working knowledge of relevant software packages used in the office environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
Self-motivated and a strategic thinking
Able to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team
