Our client seeks an Assembly Technician to join their team on a temporary basis with a view to go permanent for the right candidates.

Job description

The role requires the assembly of engineered parts and testing of fire suppression technology. Day to day will be assembling pumps, nozzles, manifolds and other engineered assemblies. All assembled parts will require testing to be carried out. Other duties include keeping the premises in a tidy state, stock checking, receiving deliveries and readying online orders for delivery.

Skills and attributes

A handy person for the construction of smaller components that form units required to complete a whole mechanical or electrical system.
To inspect, correct, maintain, fix and build simple or complex items which will be joined with other assemblies to form more complete systems.
Interests in assembling, mechanical & electrical systems.
Skilled with tools.
Quick learner and open to accept a multitude of tasks.
A team player with positive attitude.
Willingness to develop and progress within the company
