Are you a technical support specialist looking to progress into management? We are working in partnership with a leading Managed Services Provider who have been highly committed to delivering outstanding client support to SME’s for the past 20 years. They are now looking to welcome a Technical Support Team Leader on board, in their offices in Marlow.

The Technical Support Team Leader will be responsible for leading a small team, fixing technical problems for clients relating to Azure Virtual Desktop solutions, Microsoft 365 and technical support for on-site servers, workstations, network, hosted telephony and anti-virus. In this broad role, the Technical Support Team Leader will be helping out with basic PC and networking support, through to more complex and highly technical issues. They will possess strong technical knowledge of the following:

* Microsoft 365

* Windows/Mac desktop

* Azure / Azure Virtual Desktop

* Networking, broadband and firewall

* Windows Server Management, Active Directory, database management, group policy, security, user and group management

* VoIP Telephony

* RDS / Terminal Services

* Anti-virus

* PowerShell

The Technical Support Team Leader will need to bring sound Technical Support experience in an Azure and Microsoft 365 environment, which would be equivalent to 2nd or 3rd Line Support expertise. Whilst previous leadership experience is not essential, you will need to provide a confident technical escalation point to the team. It is a broad role which will involve plenty of client interaction, both remotely and onsite; therefore the Team Leader will need to be flexible in their approach, open minded and an excellent communicator with previous experience in a client-facing role. A driving license is essential as you will need to visit customers whose problems cannot be solved remotely.
