IT Support Analyst
CIPHR are a rapidly expanding, innovative, UK based tech company who provide online (SaaS) HR, Payroll and Learning Management systems and solutions to help organisations attract, engage, manage and retain their workforce more effectively.
About the role
The roles primary function is to ensure that all CIPHR Group employees have the appropriate hardware, software, supporting infrastructure and technical assistance available to them to perform their job roles. The focus of this position is to ensure that all items raised with the IT Support Team, or as directed by the IT Manager, are responded to and resolved within agreed SLAs.
Responsibilities:
Responding to and resolving tickets in accordance with the agreed CIPHR SLA
To build, maintain and repair all CIPHR laptops, workstations and servers to a professional high standard
Resolve and report on any issues or potential issues with CIPHR network and office infrastructure
To provide regular checks and associated logs of all defined CIPHR key systems for performance including but not limited to security, patch/version management and backup integrity
To keep accurate records within tickets of all communication, troubleshooting and resolution to all issues raised in the Technical Operations ticketing system
About You:
Passionate about user support
Great interpersonal skills over telephone/email/face to face
Analytically minded
A very good understanding of;
Installation/maintenance Microsoft Operating systems
Diagnosing faults with applications installed on Microsoft Windows
Imaging workstations to a specified standard
Hardware (Laptop/Server/Printer etc) fault diagnosis
Desire to learn software/technologies quickly and the ability to train users on these to an appropriate level
Ability to explain complex technical issues in terms appropriate to the audience it is being delivered toRequired Skills:
Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 Installation, maintenance and support
Microsoft Windows 10 Installation, maintenance and support
Microsoft 365 Administration, deployment and support
Microsoft Azure environment implementation and maintenanceDesirable Skills:
Atlassian products maintenance, administration and configuration
Microsoft Endpoint Management deployment and maintenance
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administration/Development experience
SQL Server installation/maintenance experience
