IT Security Analyst

Permanent

Location: Marlow

Salary: £39,630 – £46,940 per annum dependent upon experience

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our industry leading client for a competent and experienced IT Security Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a pivotal part of the IT department and with that also comes great opportunities to progress within the business. They are looking for an analytically minded, highly motivated professional who has the technical knowhow and experience, coupled with a diverse set of soft skills.

Main Responsibilities

Monitoring IT Governance for the organisation
Analysing current IT Security and making recommendations on how to further develop and enhance IT Security for the business
Creating and defining Security protocols
Creating and implementing IT security testing for business applications
Monitoring and tracking all security incidents and investigate
Discussing with external stakeholders and customers on how to enhance their IT security
Keeping up to date with current IT Security trends to further mitigate any potential risks to the business
Experience and Skills required

Excellent organisation and communication skills to relay sensitive and detailed information to both internal and external stakeholders and to prioritise workload
Background in identifying IT security risks and implementing strategies and applications to prevent potential risks.
Able to work under pressure and be a part of a small IT team
Previous experience working with Azure and Office365
Essential to have past experience working in a ISO27001 ISMS governed environment
Exposure to SIEM systems and it is beneficial to have been exposed to NIST frameworks
A benefit to have any of the following qualifications CISSP, CISM, CISA
