Cloud Software Engineer – AWS/Java/Kotlin

This is an excellent opportunity to join a truly exciting business. My client were formed in 2012 and are set to be one of the UK's most exciting technology companies, pioneering the use of software in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry. Having transformed the way power is being delivered to EV's, they are embracing the Net Zero carbon contribution model by making electric vehicles more economically friendly.

They are looking for a Senior Engineer to join their talented team. This role will see you working with other developers and building software to support research projects, new products & existing infrastructure. You will be mentoring Junior staff members, adding to the current software strategies and playing a key role in the future of the business. Ideally you will come from a IaaS/PaaS/SaaS background, and will be well versed in agile methodologies.

Commercial experience and a solid understanding of AWS & Java will highly strengthen your application. Preferably having deployed services into AWS/developing Lambda functions is what my client are looking for. Good experience with Terraform and infrastructure versioning tools will also make you stand out.

5+ Years Commercial Software Experience
Very strong understanding of AWS & terraform
Experience with AWS Lambda & AWS Fargate
Solid Understanding of Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot)
