Business Development Manager
We are hiring a Business Development Manager for a company specialising in the optimisation and delivery of professional services around all aspects of Public Cloud solutions.
The client wants to change the way people look at and use Public Cloud services as they believe any organisation from small start-ups to large multinationals can unleash the power these services to improve their business efficiency.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for winning new business with the AWS SMB sales team. Sales focus will be on new customer acquisition, AWS professional services projects, large scale AWS migrations and ongoing managed services into C level customer contacts.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER’S INDIVIDUAL DUTIES / TASKS:
* Develop, grow and own the AWS business within your dedicated AWS SMB sales POD.
* Be able to articulate and present our go to market propositions and present a view of the solutions to C level contacts at new customers.
* Managing sales engagements from start to finish.
* Input to the design and success of new business sales campaigns.
* Ensure customers are maximising their investment in AWS.
* Forecasting & Managing Pipeline.
* Be the conduit between the company, AWS and the customer.
* Engaging Architectural resource to technically scope projects.
Skills & Qualifications Required for BDM:
* 2 Years IT Sales experience at a reseller or vendor
* Direct face to face sales experience with credibility and gravitas to operate comfortably with senior level contacts particularly C-Level engagements
* Strong New Business Skills/Telesales with ability to develop accounts through continual engagement
* A strong level of commercial awareness
* Understanding of Cloud, ideally AWS
