Cobham Aerospace Connectivity are currently looking for an Operations Syspro SME to work closely with the operations team (planning , procurement , production and engineering) demonstrating the value to be obtained by optimising processes, data and usage within our ERP/MRP software (currently Syspro).

In this role you will be supporting system/process design, continuous improvement and implementation. You will work closely with, and feedback to, IT and help users improve their experience and understanding of our platforms.

This role is based at our Head office in Marlow, Buckinghamshire with flexible working options available.

As an Operations Syspro SME your key responsibilities will include:

* Support the business and users by leading the culture of system usage and data accuracy

* Identify and properly define the system characteristics as related to implementation, operational performance, scalability, usability, fit for purpose, and maintenance

* Lead training sessions relating to the operation and design of system tools and processes

* Point of contact for users transactional and MDM (Master data management) issues and work-around requests. Interpret their needs and provide system solutions

* Collaborate with other SMEs, IT and systems teams establishing effective uniform processes, data and technical procedures that are streamlined and meet business needs.

* Support design, educate, advocate and constantly improve best-practices to be used

* Ensure local teams are able to report effectively and support report education and development where needed

* Continuously research and explore new technologies and industry standards

* Own the development of process and data solutions that align with our frameworks and standards

As an Operations Syspro SME your skills and experience should ideally include:

* A deep understanding of both the architecture and practical aspects of MRP/ERP systems, ideally in Syspro – including a clear view on system, data and process optimisation to maximise results

* A strong expertise in master data management , planning , procurement or operational use of MRP systems

* Strong Excel and SQL skills

* A passion for technology and the desire to continuously learn

* Ideally experience gained as a hands on super user preferably in an implementation environment

* Strong multitasking and time management skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to interact all levels of an organization ,from shop floor to executive

* Experience working as a part of a global, fast-pace environment
