Shorterm Group are recruiting for multiple Assembly Technicians for a leading luxury British watch company based in Henley on Thames
The Purpose of this role is to:
*Ensures a high level of quality product assembly
*Manages his/her resources to achieve the goals set in terms of assembly procedure, quality and quantity.
*Uses all available means to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of his/her activities.
Duties are related to the knowledge and trained level of the given assembler
*Assembles complete watches from kits/components, complete assembly.
*Partially assembles watches from kits/components, team assembly workstation operation.
*Tests products in accordance with Bremont and international guidelines for timing and water resistance.
*Participates in Stock takes for components, consumables and tools when required.
*Provides basic Quality control for components or products as and when required.
*Provides basic polishing-refurbishing of components when required.
*Uses IT workstations to enter data when required for status and tracking of flow products and components.
*Undertakes training and implements updated working practice for new products, procedures and technical updates.
Guarantees repair with:
*Expected quality (esthetical + functional)
*Expected quantity (performance)
*Backs-up superior in his technical linked tasks, incl. quality feedback
*Respects Bremont's technical guidelines
*Guarantees quality of his complete environment, maintaining cleanliness on his/her bench and in the team locations under his/her joint responsibility.
*Adopts the most effective and efficient methods to reduce the time spend on each assembly.
*Discusses issues on any trouble-related jobs or problems linked to work load or environment and provides feedback, if any to the superior to achieve productivity level.
*Undertakes special projects assigned to him by his superiors in order to expand scope or skill base.
*Coaches' colleagues and knowledge shares with other technicians to advance the teams productivity and efficiency – best working
*practice-EHS-technical variations-product knowledge-technical updates and improvements made by manufacturers.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The successful candidates will be/have:
Minimum 5 GCSE, inc Maths and English
1 years experience in similar industry, proficient in micromechanics (engineering, electronics, avionics, model maker etc)
Watchmaking experience is desirable.
