Chelton are looking for a Systems Engineer to work on our Marlow site on an initial 6 month contract to work on the Emergency Services programme.

The Systems Engineer will be able to commit to 3 days a week on the Marlow site; the rest will be remote working.

The Systems Engineer will have strong experience working through the v-model.

As a Systems Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:

* Planning and delivery of activities for the programme for the system.

* Liaising with internal stakeholders and test houses in the planning and execution of Functional and Environmental test programmes.

* Planning and management of test support hardware needs in support of the qualification programme.

* Generation of reasoned arguments to sell off non-test requirements through qualification by analysis documentation (and providing guidance to projects).

* Assessment of opportunities to read across common equipment qualification to other projects.

* Support to Hardware/Software Integration programme.

* Systems Engineering experience with communications equipment; radios, antenna systems, satellites etc

* Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle; strong verification experience is a must

* Trained in avionics, electronics or software engineering

* Ideally DOORS for requirements

* Ability to get SC and clear ITAR

* Can commit to 3 days per week on the Marlow site
