At present we are looking for a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to cover an initial 6 month contract at our Marlow site. This Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer can offer around 3 days per week remote working.

The Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer will work across a number of new and legacy type projects

* Prior experience as a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer providing technical guidance and electronics expertise in support of a project.

* Knowledge of the following areas:

* Analogue, Digital and power supply Electronics design.

* Wideband RF (up to 2GHz)

* Airborne avionic LRUs, ATR, VPX systems.

* The Electronics Engineer will have experience in design & development lifecycle from requirements capture, system architecture, design specification and ICDs to system integration, verification and liaising with production.

* Experience of component selection and sourcing.

* Experience in electronics technology and interfaces such as VPX VITA standard backplane and 3U VPX PCB designs conduction cooled, IPMI, JTAG, Digital FPGA/CPLD hardware, DDR, RF PCB design, Analogue OpAmps, Comparators, VSWR fault detect circuit design, ADC DAC, Ethernet 1G, PCIexpress, RS232/422, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.

* Interfacing COTS Single board computer VPX Conduction cooled

* Experience with Laboratory test equipment: RF Spectrum Analyser, RF Signal Analyser, RF Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyser and Digital Volt Meter.

* Ability to get SC and clear ITAR

* Can commit to 2 days per week on the Marlow site
