This fast expanding professional services company provides a range of Private Equity backed businesses and their Executives a business networking tool and “C” Suite Search & Selection solutions.
Founded by two well respected Specialists with over 30 years industry experience , combined, the company continues to grow.
As part of their growth plans they are looking to recruit a Researcher to join the Data Acquisition & Date Management team.
Based from home, as a Researcher it will be your role to build up business profiles of key Executives within a range of PE Backed organisations within the UK and Europe. You will be using tools such as LinkedIn, Reuters, Companies House, The Trade Press, Press Releases and other research tools to build up a history of business transactions, business acquisitions, integrations, asset disposals and other business trades. You will also develop profiles of the key stakeholders involved in those business transactions.
This information will then be used to develop an one stop shop of key business data that Executives , PE Firms and companies alike can utilise to make informed business decisions. It will also create a platform for “C” Suite executives, in a similar space, to network more effectively with one another.
Based from home the ideal candidate will have worked in a Research role within the Financial Services, Business Information, Recruitment Search & Selection, Private Equity or similar business environment.
The candidate will have experience of sourcing information & data intelligence on Businesses, Markets and/or Business Professionals. They will be used to using a variety of Primary and Secondary information sources to check the validity and integrity of the information they are finding.
With a strong work ethic the candidate will feel comfortable working independently and also as part of a team. They will be happy to work from home, whilst communicating with their team via conference call.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary up to £30000 plus a company pension and 25 days annual leave.
There will also be opportunities to progress and potentially manage a team in the medium term.
To be successful you must have/be all of the following:
Educated to a minimum standard of “A” Level
Experience of undertaking a business research related role
Used to verifying the integrity of data sources
Used to using a variety of Primary & Secondary information sources
Strong Excel & MS Word skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Happy to work from home
