Sales Executive (Construction Products)

Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Marlow

Hours: 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £35,000- £40,000 p.a. basic salary. OTE £45,000-£60,000 p.a. + company benefits

Due to continued growth, my client has a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Executive to join their business on a permanent basis.

My client provides a range of niche products into the construction sector. They have exciting projections for further growth in the coming years.

The Role

The Sales Executive will play a key role in business development for my client, helping to contribute to the growth of the organisation. They will be responsible for finding and retaining clients and will work alongside the technical team to provide support to clients. Responsibilities will include:

Becoming familiar with all products and services offered by my client
Procuring new clients through direct contact
Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients
Developing business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients
Understand the technical needs of the customer and helping design solutions for them
Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes
Remaining in tune with trends in the construction marketExperience/ Skills Required

Experience of selling to main contractors and subcontractors within the construction industry is highly desirable
Substantial technical/ engineering sales experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technically minded. An Engineering degree/ qualification would be preferred, although is not essential
Full UK Driving LicenceThis is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the growth of my client's business.
