Materials Controller/Junior Project Manager – Marlow

We are exclusively partnered with a rapidly expanding contractor based in Marlow. They are looking for a Materials Controller to help contribute to a substantial amount of work that has been won in West London.

The projects range from residential conversions, loft extensions and residential refits. With projects across Heathrow, Hounslow, Hayes, and Feltham. The successful Materials Controller will support the lead Project Manager, some of their duties will be looking after the buying of materials, chasing materials, and checking purchase orders are running in line with the programme.

The MD is looking for someone who is competent, that can handle the fast cycle of work, and can pick up systems quickly and efficiently.

This is a perfect role for someone who is more junior and is wants to develop into a Project Manager position in the not-so-distant future.

The Materials Controller

The successful Materials Controller will be using a system called "Monday". This is a visual management software which runs live with the client. You will be operating through this system constantly in line with project and client. The successful Materials Controller:

* Competent and forward thinking

* Be able work well under pressure

* Be confident in the speed and turnaround of these projects

* Understand the procurement process would be advantageous

* Expeirence using the system "Monday"

* Wants to grow with this contractor
