At present we are looking for a Systems Engineer with strong verification experience to work on our Marlow site on an initial 6 month contract.
The Systems Engineer will be working on our Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme and will be able to commit to 3 to 5 days a week on the Marlow site. The Systems Engineer will have strong experience working with airborne hardware; ideally communication systems experience .
* Planning and delivery of activities for the programme for the system.
* Generation of high quality documentation in accordance with engineering processes and customer requirements (DO160G) for environmental qualification.
* Generation of detailed Functional and Environmental Test Procedures
* Generation of Acceptance Test Procedures
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and test houses in the planning and execution of Functional and Environmental test programmes.
* Planning and management of test support hardware needs in support of the qualification programme.
* Generation of reasoned arguments to sell off non-test requirements through qualification by analysis documentation (and providing guidance to projects).
* Assessment of opportunities to read across common equipment qualification to other projects.
* Support to Hardware/Software Integration programme.
* Systems Engineering experience within an airborne environment; ideally experience on electronic warfare projects
* Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle; strong verification experience is a must
* Trained in avionics or electronics
* DOORS (NG preferable) for requirements
* Ability to get SC and clear ITAR
* Can commit to 3 to 5 days per week on the Marlow site
