At present we are looking for a Shipping Administrator to work on our Marlow site on an initial 13 week contract.
* To coordinate daily shipments of sales orders from instigation to monitoring delivery times for both domestic and commercial.
* Uploading data on courier portals to initiate collection.
* Liaising with various outside organisations to obtain relevant documentations/permissions from courier companies to customs personnel.
* Communication (via customer portals to raise ASN’s) notifying the customer (or agent) re delivery.
* Support the shipping process to establish a more robust framework towards industry best practice, showing flexibility to support ad hoc activities and programmes as required.
* Work with various internal stakeholders.
* Raising credit notes for authorisation.
* Well versed in Aerospace & Military shipping protocols (Documents, Licences etc).
* Experience with export control
* Excellent Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
* A strong understanding of import & export procedures.
