Senior Systems Engineer (Flight Guidance) overview –

As part of an integrated cross- functional team, you will contribute towards the architecture, design, certification and delivery of aircraft technology. You will also be involved in the development of subsystems, components, modelling, simulation and software.

Lead the development of a next generation flight guidance system.
Take full control of the system development features such as system architecture, requirements development, system safety assessment, system integration and certification.
Implement system planning actions, define requirements for subsystems and components.
Lead the development of the system components, including any safety critical software.
Liaise with other departments and external suppliers to create the most efficient solutions.To be successful within the role you will have the following –

Experience working within similar flight guidance development roles.
Good knowledge of ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C / DO-331 / DO-297.
Strong knowledge of the flight guidance and control laws for Fly-By-Wire systems.
