At present we have an exciting opportunity for a Requirements Engineer with our Marlow site on an initial 6 month contract.

The Requirements Engineer will be working on our Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme and will be able to commit to 3 days per week on the Marlow site. The Requirements Engineer will have strong experience with IBM DOORS (ideally DOORS Next Generation/ NG).

The Requirements Engineer is will be responsible for creating and managing the definition and requirements for a system, framework or product. Defines processes, system specifications, input/output, integration requirements.

This profile is representative of those who are Senior or Principle Engineers.

The Requirements Engineer shall serve as a subject matter expert within the team, ensuring the application of the appropriate discipline processes, practices and tools to ensure that responsibilities are completed to meet the required technical and quality requirements.

* Providing advanced technical expertise to projects and product developments. Aligning technical solutions to organisational objectives to ensure the optimum business benefit.

* Continued professional development of discipline competence and expertise to ensure own capability is leading edge.

* Support the technical development of other members of the Engineering department through guidance, knowledge sharing etc.

* Identification of opportunities for improvement in discipline processes, practices and tools.

* Collaboration with IPT members to address project requirements.

* Propose new technologies, materials and processes to maintain and grow our technology differentiations.

* Propose and develop new products.

* Contribute to business winning technical proposals .

* Applies engineering principles and working knowledge to a range of difficult problems that require imaginative and practical solutions.

* Significant experience in Requirements Engineering – ideally in an airborne environment

* Experience performing requirements capture and the ability to work with requirements that are already captured

* Must have experience with DOORS (Ideally DOORS NG)

* Must have experience working with avionic or electronic products

* Ability to obtain SC and clear ITAR

* Must be able to commit to at least 3 days work on-site
