EMC Engineer needed for 12 month rolling, remote working contact.
Key responsibilities
Update E3 Control Plan in line with customer comments + add appendices for each pod + ship to explain test strategy/analysis required – Post workshop with end customer
Review all ERDs /SRDs as they become available (in excess of 100 LRUs)
Review EME test data at LRU level from suppliers as it becomes available
Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) at LRU level
Compile E3 Test Procedure for various subsystems – update in line with customer comments
Compile Marine Environment EME analysis and include test and declare strategy using ACETP500:4
Compile interoperability test procedure for aircraft/pods
RADHAZ (HERP) – Compile internal aircraft EME fields test procedure
Preliminary Lightning Direct Effects Analysis
HERO Analysis
HERF Analysis
TEMPEST
Additional Tasks
Work with the projects to revise EMC estimates and ensure activities are captured within the schedules including dependencies.
Provide general EME design support for each project.
Provide input and support each project for supplier EME workshops – EME considered at design stage.
Provide input and support each programme at internal and external PDRs and CDRs etc.
Initiate regular engagement with the customer to agree EME aspects.
Provide high level TEMPEST support to SST where required.
Attend supplier EME tests at external test facility
Support system integration and test for pod level EME tests
Perform pre-compliance testing – RF Conducted and Radiated Emissions
Compile interoperability test report for aircraft/pods – post performing tests on aircraft
RADHAZ (HERP) Compile internal aircraft EME fields test report – post performing tests on aircraft
