This role will be based at our headquarters in Marlow

As a Configuration Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include

* Deep understanding of industry best practise of change management

* Experience of adoption of PDM/PLM and CM tools

* Experience in running a business wide change control board

* Experience of data control in both design and manufacturing environments

* CI selection process

* An understanding of project lifecycles and lifecycle models

As a Configuration Engineer your key responsibilities will include

* Support for new tools and process across a multi-site business (exploiting a PDM/PLM system where possible)

* Able to run the Change Control Board if required

* Governance and control of the multi-site PDM/PLM system

* Maintenance and development of the PDM/PLM system

* Continuous improvement of change management process

* Set up of project databases and structures as required

* Support to the generation of metricsSupport the establishment of baseline declarations

* Support to Functional and Physical Configuration Audits

* Management of document repositories and libraries

* Review of supplier configuration management plans & support supplier config audits.

* Review & Sign off, of engineering artefacts, proactively lead changes and document management in adherence with company processes and customer requirements.

* Attend and support Internal & External design reviews with regard to configuration and good governance
