At present we are looking for a Systems Engineer to cover an initial 6 month contract. The Systems Engineers role will be aligned to our Marlow site with remote working options.

The Systems Engineer will work on a complex electronic warfare programme and will have a strong avionics background.

* Creates and manages the definition and requirements for a system, framework or product. Defines processes, system specifications, input/output, integration requirements.

* Providing advanced technical expertise to projects and product developments.

* Application of advanced discipline domain knowledge to the design, development and delivery of new products, processes and technologies on time, within budget and with required quality

* Continued professional development of discipline competence and expertise to ensure own capability is leading edge.

* Support the technical development of other members of the Engineering department through guidance, knowledge sharing etc.

* Propose new technologies, materials and processes to maintain and grow our technology differentiations Propose and develop new products

* Contribute to business winning technical proposals

* There is no formal management relationship (PDR etc.) and the role is “first among equals” but may have day to day responsibility for output, development, task assignment etc.

Competencies:

* Requirements capture (DOORS), validation & change control

* Hardware New Product Introduction project experience within aerospace

* Must have a strong avionic systems engineering background; ideally EW systems (Radars)

* Worked in Qualification, Verification & Certification environment

* Civil aviation Certification experience

* Supplier interaction

* System integration/validation

* Can pass ITAR regulations

* Creation of Systems Engineering documentations – SSRD, SSDD, ERD, HLDD, ADD, EMP
