Vintage Photo Lab is a small family business run by a husband and wife team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, quick-learner to help with the physical processing of customer orders.

We scan loose photos, 35mm slides and photo albums using a number of different scanning methods.

Solid PC skills are essential e.g. saving/moving/copying/renaming folders and making sure the right files are in the right place; email, updating the customer order records, uploading files and sending links etc.

Full training will be provided for the scanning but it would be advantageous if you have some prior experience or theoretical knowledge about this. (Or enjoy photography and/or old photos.)

This is a very methodical job and needs exceptional attention to detail. Some of our scanners operate very quickly and the operator needs to keep an eye out for dust which can result in a bad scan which will need redoing. It's quite fast paced and would suit someone who likes to follow process but work relatively quickly. We're often scanning thousands of photos a day so whilst it can get mundane it would also suit someone who is happy zoning off and working through batches of photos under their own steam.

Current vacancy has some flexibility but we are looking for at least 3 days a week, moving to 5 days for the right person, following a trial.

1 week trial/ full pay.

Pro rata: £19.5k – £23k depending on experience.
