This vibrant and dynamic Marketing Communications agency provide Digital, Print and Video marketing solutions to the Healthcare Industry. With a buzzy and energetic culture, the company are continuing to grow at a pace.
To support the Group CFO and Group Finance Director the company are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to predominately focus on Revenue and Margin reporting and analysis.
Due to the COVID-19 Lockdown you will initially be based from home. However as the government led lockdown restrictions become more flexible, there will be an expectation for you to travel into an office in Marlow Buckinghamshire on a daily basis.
As a Management Accountant, with a bias towards Revenue & Margin, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
* Overall responsibility for the preparation of accurate & timely management accounts on a monthly basis.
* Preparation of more complex balance sheet reconciliations as well as review of balance sheet reconciliations ensuring that the Balance Sheet remains clean & justifiable at each month end.
* Preparation of detailed analysis of monthly results against budget & prior month, giving clear, precise and easily understood reasons for movements and breakdowns of key balances in the Profit & Loss account, Balance Sheet & Cashflow Statement.
* Responsible for managing all aspects of revenue reporting involving complex project-driven revenue transactions, review of WIP, deferred and accrued revenue and providing analysis and commentary around significant movements.
* Involvement in preparation of consolidated monthly reporting to the board, bank & private equity house.
* Responsible for preparation of year end audit file.
* Taking a proactive approach with regards to continual and incremental improvements to processes across the finance function
* Other ad-hoc tasks as and when these arise.

To be successful the candidate must have/ be all of the following:
A recognised accountancy qualification – ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills (eg. Lookup, Pivot Tables)
Reside within 1 hour of Marlow Buckinghamshire.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Financial Accountant or a Management Accountant within a fast paced fast-paced, high-growth & continually changing environment
Experience of cleansing financial data & validating figures
Experience of examining financial records to check for accuracy
Experience of performing company accounting operations and determining revenues and margins
Experience of working with an account receivable team to perform financial planning, analysis and reporting activities.
Experience of producing monthly revenue forecasts and performing monthly revenue analysis and calculations.
Experience of producing monthly revenue and expenditure reports to management.
Experience of developing & improving Finance department business processes & procedures
Experience of working within PE backed business ventures
Strong technical financial / group accounting skill set
A proactive / analytical approach to all aspects of work
The ability to make well thought out decisions & work independently
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce neat, concise & easily understood work.
Deadline driven & well organised
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to engage and work in partnership with internal stakeholders
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers;
Prior knowledge of Microsoft Navision / Dynamics / Business Central desirable;
The successful candidate will be rewarded with the following:
