Working for a fast paced Private Equity backed Professional Services SME, we are actively looking for a Qualified Management Accountant or Financial Accountant to:
* Prepare accurate & timely management accounts on a monthly basis and present to Group FC
* Prepare & review more complex balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare detailed analysis of monthly results against budget
* Undertake detailed revenue and margin analysis
* Oversee the Accounts Payable function to ensure that transactions are posted accurately, timely and in line with processes and procedures;
* Assist the Accounts Payable Manager in implementing best practice across the function including for payments, expenses, credit cards, invoice postings & ledger house-keeping;
* Prepare daily working cashflow forecast & 6 month forward looking cashflow and present to Group FC
* Take a proactive approach with regards to continual and incremental improvements to processes across the finance function;
* Other ad-hoc tasks provided by the Group FC as and when these arise.
The client is specific about the applicants background. THEREFORE THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING
* Currently working as an Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner
* Be Fully Qualified ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Have worked for a SME in the UK
* Have worked for a Professional Services company
* Prepared detailed Management Accounts independently
* Led on some Process change projects
* Reside within 50 minutes drive of Marlow
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team
* Be career driven
The successful candidate will be rewarded with the following:
