Trainee Recruiter – High Wycombe / Remote working – Basic Salary £20,000 – £23,000pa (DOE) with a very competitive & lucrative bonus structure!

The Company:

You will be given Permanent vacancies that you can work on immediately, to get yourself up and running and making money as soon as possible! Once trained, you will have the opportunity to do your own business development and build up your own client base.
If you prefer the client facing side of things, there can be the opportunity to just focus on this if you choose. The same goes for the candidate side of things… If this is where your strengths lie you can focus purely on the resourcing side of the job, which can be discussed either at interview or once you have completed a few months in the role.
The company believes in giving people the freedom to choose how they want to work, so you are free to choose the industries you’d like to recruit in and how you’d like to build your desk. They don’t believe in cold calling! They predominantly use Linkedin to contact new clients and build relationships in a “how can we help?” kind of way. They genuinely care about every client and candidate they deal with and value giving a great service to everyone they encounter. Service over fees! The rest will follow…..
The Job:
The role of a Recruiter (once trained)
* Building great relationships with both clients and candidates
* Sourcing new business via Linkedin, job boards, client outreach etc
* Taking on new roles from clients, making sure you listen and really understand their requirements
* Potentially visiting client’s premises to get a really good understanding of the company and who would fit well in their business/team
* Advertising vacancies online
* Sourcing cv’s and calling candidates to “qualify” them for roles
* Making sure you are matching the right people to the right jobs
* Editing cv’s and creating candidate profiles ready to send to clients
* Booking interviews, sending out interview confirmations etc
* Conducting “interview prep” calls to help candidates feel confident
* Getting really good interview feedback and relaying this to both candidates and clients
* Negotiating offers, start dates etc
* All Admin duties related to your role (updating the CRM system with candidate info/client info/Job bookings etc)
What we’re looking for:
The ideal profile of a Trainee Recruiter:
* Confident personality – happy to speak on the phone to people at all levels and get to know them
* Great listener! This is far more important than talking..
* Very organised, with really good attention to detail
* Happy to take instructions and willing to learn
* Someone who really cares about people and loves helping them
* Motivated to make money, but not arrogant in any way!
* Someone who has worked in a Sales role in some capacity would be great – Professions such as Estate agency, Car sales, Retail, Charity, gym memberships etc are ideal, as you can bring many transferable skills (other experience considered).
They are also happy to consider Recruiters with some previous experience who want to join a forward-thinking company and earn good bonus, with a better work-life balance!
