We are looking for a Project Management Assistant, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support the maintenance of our Government/Customer Furnished Equipment (GFE/CFE).
The you will also support the repair cell in planning the repairs of GFE/CFE returned assets. This includes following prescribed procedures to receive, check, record, store, issue and expedite all part, materials, and equipment related to GFE/CFE.
Working closely with the MOD project teams to ensure all shipments materials and documents are recorded accurately. A natural coordinator, you will manage all annual stock takes and storeroom inventory checks. You will be Customer point of contact for GFE/CFE and survey or repairs required.
Key Responsibilities as a Project Management Assistant
* Raise Discrepancy reports and quarantine assets if required
* Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding all/any aspects of GFE/CFE
* Process all incoming and outgoing paperwork & maintain the GFE/CFE filing systems & Records.
* Maintain GFE/CFE store, tracking all movements within.
* Coordinate with other departments to expedite urgently needed assets.
* Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety.
* Fulfil Quarterly and Annual Reports for our customers, ensuring they are submitted by the required deadlines.
* Align with internal teams on lead-time for all activity, prior to agreement with customer
* Liaise with internal stakeholders as required to ensure all GFE/CFE asset repairs are planned and completed according to agreed schedule
* Ensure all parties are fully updated of production status, and that work planning and execution objectives are integrated and communicated.
Skills, Qualification and Experience as a Project Management Assistant
* Experienced in the management and coordination of hardware and information assets
* Experience of interfacing across internal functions and teams as well as customers and suppliers
* Working knowledge of an MRP system (preferably IFS)
* MS Windows, MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
* Ability to present to senior teams
* Travel between sites as and when required.
* SC clearance obtainable
