Our client, a leading medical manufacturer and distributor based in High Wycombe, are looking for a Quality Inspector to be responsible for Quality control testing, Assistance with Goods In inspection and maintaining the QMS system.
Key Responsibilities:
* To issue, print and bind Log Books / Lot Books and print Forms.
* To assist / assess the quality and quantity of incoming products; applying QA passed labels on products.
* To complete all assignments / activities requested e.g. by Line Manager and / or Grand Avenue Software, in a timely manner
* To maintain accurate records of deliveries and quality assessments and archiving of samples.
* Identifies, segregates and documents rejected components and materials
* To complete Quality checks and / or in–process product checks in Production, review Quality Check sheets.
* To recognize and handle product and process nonconformities e.g. NCMRs.
* Enters and retrieves inspection and NCMR data from local and global systems
* To assess Goods returned within the Quarantine area.
* Reviews related Quality documentation such as DHR’s or calibration records
* Supports local problem solving activities and may identify opportunities for improvement
* To update Lot book information in databases.
* To maintain accurate records of deliveries and quality assessments and archiving of samples.
* To assist in inputting of delivery quantities into the IT system.
* To interact and liaise with suppliers and purchasing to resolve delivery and product quality problems.
* To ensure that all test procedures are in-place and that test equipment is suitably calibrated.
* Conducts incoming inspection to appropriate standards and completes Quality Test Forms for QC testing and checks.
* To perform the daily recording of Warehouse environmental conditions.
* To carry out additional tasks under the guidance and direction of the Quality Manager where required.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Ability to interact with suppliers in reference to quality issues arising with delivered product.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
* Ability to apply a great deal of attention to detail in goods inspection and accuracy for entry of data entry.
* Ability to check product deliveries against supplier information and documentation.
* Proficient in English writing and verbal skills.
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
