We are looking for a Mechanical Technician, who will support the manufacturing area by performing the mechanical assembly elements of the build process.
Have you got experience of reading Assembly Drawings? If so, this may be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities as a Mechanical Technician
* Check kits of parts required for build are correct
* Build of assemblies to drawing andor build instructions to budgeted hours
* Perform mechanical measurements of certain area as necessary to ensure adequate clearance is achieved
* Interface with Team LeadersProduction EngineeringDesign Engineering for guidance and raising of issues
* Provide status reports on progress and expected completion time
* Monitor all tools/equipment used, ensuring they are within Calibration and good repair, highlighting any issues or risks to Team Leader
* Maintain all work areas to a high standard of cleanliness and order
* Adhere to all business policies, with a particular focus on Health & Safety
Skills, Qualification and Experience as a Mechanical Technician
* Experience with manufacturing of Mechanical assemblies
* Ability to multi task and work with cross functional teams
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Familiar with mechanical measuring equipment
