We are seeking a Software Innovation Lead to join a well known retail organisation. It is an opportunity to join a company that is on a journey of digital transformation and investing heavily into their people and technology.

The Software Innovation Lead will be responsible for delivering a clear and complete product strategy for machine software which aligns with the wider platform strategy and embraces innovation at it's heart

Responsibilities:

Leads the machine software development team, driving a portfolio of projects across machine systems, ensuring these are properly resourced, managed and delivered on-time and to budget, so that the end product is scalable to meet the ambitious growth plans
Develops the long-term machine software vision, working with senior stakeholders to create this and ensure it is fully aligned with our Express platform strategy
Promotes the development of an open and modular design methodology that encourages integration of third-party vendor applications with our core machine platform, where appropriate – for example, to enable local market payment or loyalty solutions to be fully integrated
Builds a cohesive, collaborative, and highly functioning team that delivers success
Aligns with other strategic development initiatives across Express to ensure joined up proposition journeys and deep integration with our telemetry platform as this developsROLE: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

LOCATION: High Wycombe

SALARY: £90,000 – 95,000 per annum
