A leading Hospitality Company based in Loudwater is seeking Finance Analyst to join their team on a contract basis for 7 month initially. (Role is fully remote)
What is the main purpose
of the job?
The Finance Analyst is key in driving the right insight into Operations and supply chain, and is responsible for:
Owning period end reporting & commentary, challenging/driving insight into key financial lines & KPIs informing the Supply Chain and Ops of their key focus areas.
Working with the Senior Leaders in Operations & Supply Chain to understand & inform drivers of operating costs within their functional areas to draw key insight and drive the business priorities.
Support the forecasting, budgeting and planning (ABP) processes ensuring they match the requirements of the business, aligning the key stakeholders around a common view of the facts with clear communication of the risks and opportunities, these items include R&M, Ingredients, Labour and Capital expenditure.
Develop effective reporting, analysis and insights for stakeholders so that they have the information needed to manage their businesses
Ensure Express has clear visibility of their assets (machines) to full utilise the fleet and support where required the end of life / scrappage process.
Support key projects where required such as the D365 implementation of new ERP system.
Own Overheads reporting for UKI Express, liaising with budget holders and managing queries through to the Accounting team
Skills:
Essentials
A degree in business / accounting / finance or someone who has started accounting qualifications (ACCA / CIMA)
Excellent Excel skills, including reporting and modelling
Champions values of passion, trust, warmth and courage
Proactive, resilient, adaptable and "can-do" team player with a drive to make a difference
Significant experience in the finance team of a large company.
A track record of analysis, including operational P&L line

Cultural awareness
Good knowledge of related systems best practice
Creative thinker with the ability to identify innovative business solutions and implement them
Experience in a B2B services or products business
Experience of financial support to a multi-site retail or hospitality business.
