Vanta Staffing are recruiting for a Designer (2d CAD Skills preferred) for our client based in Loudwater, Bucks. We are looking for a self-motivated person who is able to work under their own initiative. You will have great attention to detail and an ability to get it right first time every time. We are keen to find someone with first class interpersonal skills who is a great team player and a real positive can-do attitude. You will need to be prepared to be flexible and work extra hours when required

The position comes with a salary of £23k – £25k + production bonus and working hours are 8am – 5pm Mon-Thurs 8am-3.30pm Fri (occasional overtime)

You will be reporting to the Associate Director but will be fully accountable for your work.

Responsibilities:

This is using cad software for 2d designs that would suit a practical person

– establish customer requirements

-advise on design options

-prepare sales estimates

-prepare designs

-process orders

-inspect Cases as final stage of QA before dispatch to customer

-arrange dispatch

Skills required:

Some relevant design experience and an ability to think visually
Ability to look at an object and visually see the link to a drawing on screen
Highly numerate
Ideally some previous exposure to CAD software
Experience dealing with Customers
Excellent Computer skills Word Excel etc
