Account Technologies is a successful and expanding 'technology wrapped' financial services company. Using advanced data analytics to provide insight into a range of key business areas, we specialise in consumer finance. 

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their successful and growing Compliance team to help to answer all kinds of questions about the business. Reporting to the Principal Compliance Analyst, tasks will include providing insight into customer behavior, devising, and implementing new processes, and conducting analyses to drive the business forward, while working closely with the Customer Care and Complaints departments. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and presentation who can manage multiple priorities from day one, with the potential to move into managing a small team after probation. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop analytical techniques and get exposure to senior directors from day one.  

Analysing data using various software and providing detailed insight 

Producing reports and presenting findings back to the team and senior colleagues 

Working closely with other departments to support business growth 

Managing workload and projects autonomously   

Although based within the compliance department, you will have the opportunity to regularly communicate and work with different analytics departments and learn from multiple areas of the business, e.g. Operations, Commercial and Finance.  

Essential Skills: 

BSc (2:1 level or above) in Physics, Maths, MORSE, Operational Research, Computer Science or related  

2+ years relevant Business Analyst experience 

Natural problem solver with a creative analytical mind 

Proficient in SQL 

Experience using mathematical software, Python, etc.  

Excellent knowledge of Excel 

Strong communication and presentation skills 

Desired skills: 

Experience working in a regulated environment 

Project management experience 

Experience working within Financial Services/Compliance 

Demonstratable Statistical modelling or machine learning experience 

Previous management experience
