of Legal & Compliance (Residential Property) / South of England / Up to £55k

We are now keen to find a of Legal & Compliance for our client, a well-known and highly reputable specialist in the field of Residential Block Management.  They currently manage a significant number of residential blocks across the South of England and Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's procedures comply with regulations and industry best practice.  This role would be ideally suited to a Solicitor experienced in Property & Leasehold Law. 

The key responsibilities of this role are many and varied and will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring all internal processes are met in line with industry regulations and standards
• Offering expertise in the Right to Manage process
• Interpretation and negotiation of contracts and property documents
• Resolution of disputes/breach of lease issues
• Leasehold Enfranchisement
• Producing a consolidated monthly compliance report for the company
• Working closely with the directors
• Ensuring all staff are fully conversant with, and complying with, all relevant legislation
• Dealing with escalated client complaints, etc.

The knowledge, skills and experience required include:

• Significant knowledge and experience of the property management industry
• Strong leadership skills and experience
• Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
• The ability to build strong external relationships to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile
• Ability to influence at a senior level, both internally and externally

This position will come with a competitive salary and there will be a degree of flexibility with regards to the location of this role, but you will ideally be based in the South of England so that you can travel with relative ease to London and from the East to West of the South Coast.
