My client is looking for an experienced D365 Applications Support Manager individual who has experience with managing, implementing and designing Dynamics 365 F&O. You will work with the ICT management team to take the lead responsibility for developing relationships with service users at the highest level to understand and shape demand and to plan the long term strategic direction (e.g. designing strategy to make best use of cloud services to increase agility, strategic planning of resources, etc.)
The purpose of your role will be to;
Assume overall responsibility for the successful operation of the Council’s Dynamics 365 F&O platform covering Finance, Requisitioning, HR and Payroll (through third party Loki solution), including interfaces and reporting capability
Manage an existing team of 3 Functional Leads (Council staff, direct reports) covering Finance, AR/AP and HR, and a D365 F&O Applications Management and Support (AMS) contract with PwC comprising on and offshore staff
Implement and operate processes within the wider IT service to ensure D365 F&O support incidents and requests are processed promptly and efficiently, within wider IT SLAs and ensuring minimum business downtime/maximum business value from the platform
Take responsibility for positive engagement with senior stakeholders and F&O service users, monitoring and evidencing high levels of user satisfaction with the D365 Application
Ensure all service compliance and documentation standards are in place and the application has been fully accepted into service, including the HR and Payroll services launching in April 2022.
Develop and maintain platform road-map for version upgrades and consolidation to new F&O product later in 2022/23, reflecting funding and resource availability
Support the Director of IT in the establishment of a permanent D365 F&O team structure and recruitment to a permanent Support Team Manager role
Act as the most senior person responsible for Dynamics 365 within the Council, providing effective leadership and management of the service to ensure successful delivery of the Council’s corporate ICT and strategic objectives, and the business objectives of Finance, HR and other designated services.If you have the relevant skills and experience please apply immediately with your most up-to-date CV
