Title: Trainee Consultant
Job Purpose:
To well and faithfully service the Company and make every endeavor to promote the Company's interests and co-operate to the fullest extent with any employee or servant to the Company. To convert new business and develop existing accounts. Achievement of daily / monthly goals and helping create a lively and productive sales environment.
Reports to: Branch manager
Standard of Performance:
Accountable for achieving the following;
· Maintain a minimum average margin percentage of over 15%.
· Required to set achievable annual budget plans and to meet or exceed these.
· Required to forecast on a month to month basis an accurate reflection of incoming and existing sales to within 15%.
· To ensure that sales / resourcing systems are adhered to and that sales activity levels are maintained by constant monitoring and assessment.

Office Based Sales/Service
Office based sales activity for the majority of the working week to consist of planned telesales activity incorporating the use VDQ system and any personal diary methods. New sales are generated from the following sources;
·Upselling to existing Clients
·ABI generated leads
·Site developed lead follow-up calls
· Referrals
· Cold Calling
· Affiliations to Group Bodies
· Resourcer Leads
A minimum sales activity level of 30 live sales calls (to decision maker) or 8 site visits (15 within London) per day is to be maintained.
Field Sales / Service
Average a minimum of ½ day per week spent on site doing pre-planned and cold call site visits encompassing the following areas;
· Client service
· Temporary worker support
· Account development
· Lead production
· Referral development
· New sales
· Key sales
· Client entertainment
Team motivation & Planning
Actively participate in daily meetings undertaken to focus on individual and team goals and assist in achieving them by giving open forum for discussion. Daily figures taken for office based and field sales activity. These are recorded to allow performance to be monitored.
Health and safety
All employees are expected to observe the companies Health and Safety Policy and safety legislation whilst carrying out the specific duties and responsibilities of their post
