Our Client is looking for ambitious Trainee Hire desk controllers to join their force. Are you looking for a job where you join a friendly team that will help to develop your Business support, Administrative, Sales and Customer service Skills?
You will be working in a well recognised rental company that supplies construction equipment to the building and construction sectors from one-off hires to local companies to long-running nationwide contracts.
To succeed as a Hire Desk controller you will need previous understanding of conducting outbound and inbound sales and have strong organisational and planning skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
Dealing with inbound enquiries, converting into hire business.
Organising and processing orders orders and requests for collections.
Planning of transport.
Calculation and supply of quotes.
General administration support to the team.
Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
Local area knowledge for the depot areas served
Motivated self-starter with good administration, time management and organisation skills
Essential Experience:
Hire desk Experience would be desirable, (not essential)
1 years experience in customer service
A professional manner with good communication and people skills
PC literate with experience of Microsoft Systems
Ability to prioritise work load and work to tight deadlines
Local area knowledge for the depot areas served
Motivated self-starter with good administration, time management and organisation skills
