We are recruiting for a wholesaler whose office is based near Slough and due to rapid growth they are seeking an enthusiastic Buying Administrator who will provide full administration support to the buying team.
Salary up to £22,000 per annum
The role will suit someone who is passionate about buying and has an understanding of supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the buying team to achieve maximum efficiency.
PO management from point of raising and sending with terms of conditions, through to delivery of goods.
Attaching live purchase order breakdowns where necessary.
Record keeping of live POs, maintenance of delivery dates.
Accurately and efficiently pulling data and running various reports to assist with purchasing analysis using Excel.
Monitoring shipments, deliveries, chasing suppliers to ensure timely receipt.
Maintaining CRM accurately.
SLWC report.
Sending out all relevant documents to suppliers.
Opening new supplier accounts on the system.
Liaising with suppliers.
General office administration duties.
Undertaking analysis work.
Building relationships with other departments to ensure constant communication and efficiency.
Developing a comprehensive understanding of the fragrance supply chain.
Be proactive in managing own development – identifying potential areas for improvement and seeking the necessary tools to maximise learning potential.
Skills and experience
Previous administration support experience
Strong organisational skills
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
High attention to detail
Ability to work confidently as part of a fast-paced team
Advanced Excel skills including V-Look ups
Knowledge of supply chains
Experience of Sage
