OPERATIONS SCHEDULER – Water & Utilities

THE ROLE: The Water Operations Scheduler will report to the Water Operations Manager and support the Operations Team in ensuring the efficient, cost effective and safe delivery of all operational services for our commercial and public sector (B2B) customers.
The ideal candidate will have a sufficient background within Facilities Maintenance as this role will a multitude of communications with different businesses an stakeholders.
JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full time
LOCATION: Pinewood Studios, Iver, Buckinghamshire
(Partial remote working from home is also an option)
START DATE: Immediate Start.
DUTIES:
Primary Duties:
– Logistics Support
*Scheduling of works
*Booking of appointments with customers, including removing customer perceived roadblocks
*Incoming call handling
*Liaison with engineers & contractors
*Job handling (Raising / Updating / Closing projects with software system)
*General project administration
Secondary Duties:
– Survey support, including
*Data entry and data capturing
*Guided survey analysis
*Assessment for missing information
– Client Liaison
*Requesting meter reads
*Requesting information
*Telephone surveys
– Other general tasks
*Stock management and tracking
*Desktop Researching
*Administrative duties
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE and REQUIRED SKILLS:
Essential
– Confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner and good diction.
– Background in Engineering/Facilities Management/Water Treatment/Water Supply.
– Experience in an administrative role / duties
– Speak English to native standard.
– Thrive in a fast-paced working environment while being a team player.
– Experienced in working in a commercial business-to-business environment and have the ability to confidently liaise on the telephone with a variety of professional levels; incl. customers, managers, contractors, suppliers, engineers etc.
– Ability to think on their feet when dealing with issues which could prevent works.
– Good IT Skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office – good Excel skills are required.
– Excellent attention to detail.
– Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task is advantageous.
– Proactive, self-motivated and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
KEY CHALLENGES: One of the key challenges of the role is being able to adapt to talking with different contact levels within large organisations to overcome any objections to the proposed plan and the get the works planned. This often requires a good level of empathy with customer's particular situation and their goals in order to remove roadblocks.
TRAINING: The successful candidate must be willing to travel to our offices in Iver Heath, South Buckinghamshire, for any training that may be required both at the beginning of and throughout their employment.
