Role overview:
The Systems Administrator possesses global IT administrative access and is responsible for maintaining the company’s network of systems with a focus on software.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with the Network Engineer to ensure that all the Company’s applications, employees, lines of business and services are maintained
* Set up accounts and workstations
* Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
* Deploying applications on company assets
* Ensuring the security of devices, software, and networks
* Upgrade systems with new releases and models
* Providing on-site IT support for internal staff and BAU
* Build an internal technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001)
You should apply if you:
* Have demonstrable experience working within a similar role
* Have solid experience working with the Microsoft stack
* Possess a track record of maintaining the software estate of business applications within in a first cloud environment within Microsoft 365 Enterprise 5
* Have demonstrable experience with Azure AD, PowerShell scripting, Visio
* Have an understanding of ITIL processes
* Have demonstrable experience within BAU support and be able to triage the most complex requests
* Possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to establish and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally at all levels.
* Are self-driven, focused, results and quality oriented
* Have the ability to foster self-motivation to achieve tight deadlines
* Possession of a Microsoft qualification would be desirable
Location:
Our client is based in picturesque Iver, easily accessible via the Thames Valley line. There is free on site-parking and bike racks.
