Job Description

The work entails visiting sites for quotation purposes for OHL/HV/LV/Substation/Rising Mains etc, using client’s drawings and works information to pre-site survey works to enable a quotation to be built using handheld tablets. Jobs will be allocated via tablets with all drawings and works information downloaded including existing stat surveys, the surveyor will take this information and visit the address and check the route in line with the clients requirements and check that the route can be achieved. Liaise with the client Project Manager regards to the route requirements.
Once agreed the route and after checking existing stat drawings start to build quotation using tablet and schedule of rate items including all relevant traffic management requirements and street works requirements such as parking bay suspensions/bus stop suspensions/lane rental.

Professional Skills

Fully Computer Literate
Trained in use of surveying Equipment (CAT Scan/Generator)
Electrical Experience:
• Installation of LV/HV underground cables
• Substation Works
• Overhead Line Work up to 33Kva

Professional Accreditation
CSCS
NRSWA Street Works
SSE Certificated (Preferable)
