Security Control Room Operator
Salary: £32,000
Location: Near Heathrow (Iver, Buckinghamshire)
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (7am – 5pm)

We have a vacancy for a Control Room Operator to work in a busy and professional security control room in near Heathrow. Applicants must hold an SIA License and ideally have previous experience working in a security control room environment with CCTV and Access Control systems.

Your role will include the monitoring of security systems such as CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms.

Duties:

* Working in a multi-functional security control room consisting of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.

* Ensuring a customer focused service is maintained at all times

* Act as the point of contact for client queries

* Undertake daily briefings with the team

* Identify and remedy any shortfalls in the security of the facility.

* Take and administer deliveries to the site

* Oversee the issuing of security passes to the site.

* Effective incident management

* Provide regular reports to the Site Security Manager

* The response and resolution of emergency situations

Essential criteria:

* Hold a valid SIA license – Door Supervision or CCTV

* Prior experience working in a security control room environment

* An outgoing and friendly personality

* The ability to communicate with senior stakeholders

* The ability to manage emergency situations
