Salary and Working Hours
Our drivers work shifts can involve irregular and unsociable hours. This could potentially mean working early mornings, late evenings and weekends. You'll be working a 5 in 7 rotating shift pattern. Shifts are Monday to Friday in the first week, then Tuesday to Saturday in the second week.
Your basic salary will be £45,000 for a 45-hour working week, plus 45 mins a day for breaks, but you can expect to earn a lot more than this if you're willing to do overtime or work additional days. Shift durations will vary, however overtime will be paid on top of all daily shifts, including for periods of availability, that exceed 10.5 hours. Additional days worked will also be paid as an additional shift at £190.
You will receive 28 days annual leave a year, which includes statutory holidays.
Applicants will also undergo a driving assessment as part of the recruitment process and be familiar with 5th wheel and A-frame trailers. You must be able to speak fluent English.
Personal Development and Career Prospects
We will train new entrants on the job. Those showing promise will be earmarked for development within the Company, which could lead one day to becoming a Head of Department and running your own project with a team of drivers and service crew under your direct management.
We really value our people and offer a friendly working environment, a focus on developing your skills and a competitive salary. Benefits include access to a company pension scheme with employer contributions. Our Team is what enables us to be successful therefore, if you have what it takes to help us deliver the best service, we would love to hear from you
