We are seeking an enthusiastic Buying Administrator who will provide full administration support to the buying team, grow with the company and add value to our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about buying and understanding the fragrance industry and supply chain. There is lots of scope for growth here with the opportunity to shape the role, so we are keen to meet someone who is eager to learn and develop.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assisting the buying team to achieve maximum efficiency.
* PO management from point of raising and sending with terms of conditions, through to delivery of goods.
* Attaching live purchase order breakdowns where necessary.
* Record keeping of live POs, maintenance of delivery dates.
* Accurately and efficiently pulling data and running various reports to assist with purchasing analysis using Excel.
* Monitoring shipments, deliveries, chasing suppliers to ensure timely receipt.
* Maintaining CRM accurately.
* Running reports
* Sending out all relevant documents to suppliers.
* Opening new supplier accounts on the system.
* Liaising with suppliers.
* General office administration duties.
* Undertaking analysis work.
* Building relationships with other departments to ensure constant communication and efficiency.
* Developing a comprehensive understanding of the fragrance supply chain.
* Be proactive in managing own development – identifying potential areas for improvement and seeking the necessary tools to maximise learning potential.
