Our client based in Iver, are looking to recruit a Junior Buyer on a permanent contract.
Working as part of a small buying team this is an extremely varied role, reporting directly to the CEO. We are looking for an experienced Assistant/Junior Buyer who is looking for their next career challenge. We need a confident negotiator who will be able to form strong and long-lasting relationships with suppliers. You will be responsible for creating short- and long-term forecasts for procurement and costings of the products.

Founded in 2016 the company has grown rapidly, expanding its product range and the fabulous team that support us. As an organisation they want to ensure the customers receive only the best in customer service, so are looking for people who are keen to deliver the high standard that they pride themselves on.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive understanding of fragrance supply chain.
* Analyse market trends and apply knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
* Build relationships with suppliers & tailor negotiations to suit their ways of working.
* Negotiating to ensure best prices for items and delivery in satisfactory time.
* Monitoring shipments, deliveries, chasing suppliers to ensure timely receipt.
* Maintain stock levels and identify the need for replenishment.
* Carry out weekly sales analysis to deliver buying proposals.
* Attend buy meetings with UK and overseas suppliers.
* Adhere to purchasing budgets and identify potential cash flow issues.
* Use initiative to manage stocklists and offers.
* Build relationships with other departments to ensure constant communication and efficiency.
* Be proactive in managing own development – identifying potential areas for improvement and seeking the necessary tools to maximise learning potential.
