Kaedi Recruitment Agency is looking for Health Care Assistants (HCA). HCA's are needed to support our client in the slough area at home and must have experience with PEG Feeding and Tracheostomy.
Health Care Assistants registered with us at Kaedi will be responsible for supporting our client with their care plan. All our Health Care Assistants of all levels need to be confident, professional, organised and dependable.
Duties Include:
* Providing support to service user.
* Peg Feeding
* Tracheostomy requiring suctioning
* Administration of medication through feeding tubes (such as PEG, RIG, NG)
* Monitor and record service user progress.
* Liaising with the management team consistent standard of care that meets the individual needs of each service user.
* Follow clients safeguarding policies.
Key Skills Required:
* Flexible and Adaptable
* Complex care Experience
* NVQ in Health and Social Care or similar
* Must be Organised
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Must be supportive and compassionate to service users.
Additional Information:
* Applicants may need to apply for a new Enhanced DBS (if they don’t already have one on the update service)
* Applicants must have full CV history along with references covering a period of the last 5 years.
* Experience within the the NHS or Private healthcare sector is preferred however this is not essential.
* Hourly pay rates vary from £9.50 to £13 depending on shift pattern.
