Exciting opportunity to join a stable distribution business as a Financial Accountant

The role will be involved in the financial affairs of the group of companies,

. The main responsibilities of the Financial Accountant for each of the entities will be as follows

. • Oversee accounts payable and receivables functions

• Preparation of month end journals including prepayments, accruals, and intercompany recharges

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts

• Bank reconciliations

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Intercompany invoicing and reconciliations

• Weekly cashflow reporting

• Quarterly VAT Returns

• Monthly CIS Returns

• Intrastat reporting

• Fixed Asset Management

• Adhoc reporting

The Candidate for Financial Accountant

Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA or CIMA or QBE looking to progress their career

• Self-motivated, self-starter who displays self-confidence and initiative.

• Excellent working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables etc). • Adaptable with a "do what it takes" attitude to completing tasks within set timescales.
