Kinect Recruitment are excited to be working on a Telecoms Contract project where we are looking for individuals to work as a team or existing teams to work as gangs of Cabling engineers and Rod and Ropers. This will include intrusive surveys.
Duration 6 months ongoing.
To be considered for the role you must have previous experience and ideally current up to date qualifications within the telecoms industry and a clean driving licence with less than 3 points.

As a Cabling engineer, you will be working as part of a cabling gang on an upgrade & maintenance project.
This work initially is to test rod & rope (TTR) in existing BT (duct) network. However, once the routes are proved this will lead to the full build which will require the installation of fibre optic cable.
Ideally, looking for cable teams who are experienced on the BT network who can cover both disciplines i.e., TRR and the Installation of fibre cable.
You would also be required to prove the integrity of the house tubes on a FTTP build. You would be using compressed air to send calibration bullets through from outside the property to the StreetSide cabinets. The street side cabinets need dressing and presenting appropriately.
If you have blowing experience then this would be an advantage, but training and experience will be provided.
Current qualifications and certificates required are NRSWA and ideally have A9, SA002 and K8 accreditation BUT experience will be considered above and as well.
Majority of work will be in the Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire area and close surrounding
