BDS Recruitment are looking for 2 Senior Support Workers in High Wycombe.

You will be supporting customers in an independent living scheme to live their best life, in the way that they want to. These adults will have mental health issues and learning disabilities, so an awareness of safeguarding is essential.

You will support customers with personal care, administering medication, financial support, meal planning /nutrition advice, skill development to further independence, work alongside professionals regarding the customers welfare, and help to attend appointments.

Who we are looking for

Experience in a senior role is desirable but most importantly you will need to have a compassionate and caring nature, a great sense of humor and be committed to making a real difference to customer’s lives. We also need the following:

* Availability to work shifts Monday – Sunday

* You should be comfortable supporting customers with personal care

* Able to demonstrate an ability to meet a wide range of service users’ needs including managing behaviors that can challenge, personal care tasks and administration of medication.

* Have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay rate is £10.25- £11.00 and £12.50 per hour paid on weekends.
